The recent conflict in Gaza has taken a heavy toll on the cultural heritage of the region. The death of 41 cultural figures and the destruction of numerous cultural institutions have left the community reeling. Among those affected are archaeologist Ayman Hassouna, museum owner Suhaila Shaheen, restoration specialist Fadel Al Utol, history student Ali, and construction company owner Jawdat Khoudary. These individuals have faced immense challenges, including displacement, loss of livelihood, and destruction of cultural sites.
