The 1st question just kills me ( as an artist you have the freedom of doing whatever you gotta do in that canvas all the time even when someone ask you to paint or draw a particular request) you the artist ., your way of seen anything that goes on the canvas is your freedom of expression and nobody also !!!!!!! End of the story!!!!
Clearly needing sine drugs.
I think I'm beginning to see why Warhol was so fond of him – and it had nothing to do with art lol. Hot damn.
Very retated brain in this poor guy like sir biden 2024
He said something like "You're asking me strange questions, like 'Are you glad you have feet, or do you wish you didn't have feet?' Or 'How would live if you didn't have a head? ' They're very strange." Hahaha.
Horrible questions, terrible interviewer
I really don’t appreciate his art
He should pick fights 🤷♂️ upset
Does anyone know the name of the interviewer?
14:30 😂 15:47
As a psychologist , I can tell you that this boy had so many problems on so many levels , drugs didn't help obviously, but treatment would.. Unfortunately , the art world fears sanity as a some sort of killer of inspiration and imagination..
These questions are god awful jesus christ what a waste of Basquiats and the audiences time
AWESOME! Thanks for showing.
Wtf are these questions
Guess he found some good heroin
Interview starts at 2:17 That clicking was ridiculous.
Thought he was going to pass out
Basquiat is a legend. terrible interviewer, awful string of questions.
This man was a confused troubled individual. Stop worshipping man, especially the most flawed of them all. That seems to be the trend nowadays.
he also seems very pained.
This is the weirdest interview I've ever seen…He is utterly depressed, unable to truly engage, and she seems to have so little insight or recognition of that fact! It's a completely stilted exchange!
At some point I was expecting her to ask "what is your favorite color"…I wish I could give him a hug.
Don't bother watching this. The documentary doesn't start until 2 minutes of the video. When it does, The sound is shit!
the first question ruined the interview. as soon as he realised she didn't even knew he was born in NY she was doomed
The interviewer approached him with questions you'd ask an alien at first contact. All that was missing was the proverbial poking with a stick from a distance to see how 'it' would react.
Poor Jean. lol This was a lesson on how not to interview people.
