Frieze has announced the participating galleries for its upcoming New York fair at the Shed this spring, with 68 galleries set to exhibit. The fair will feature top global galleries like Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, Pace, and David Zwirner, along with international galleries such as Kurimanzutto, Victoria Miro, and Sprüth Magers. This edition of Frieze New York will be the first since acquiring The Armory Show, which will take place in September at the Javits Center. The fair’s timing has shifted this year, opening at the beginning of May alongside other fairs like Nada New York and Future Fair. The Focus sector for young galleries is being organized by Lumi Tan and will include four first-time exhibitors. The fair aims to showcase a diverse range of artists and provide a platform for discovery.
