Handcrafted Design and Functional Art Objects at New York Collectible Fair

The Collectible design fair made its debut in New York, featuring a diverse array of art and design objects. Exhibitors showcased everything from lamps and tableware to chairs, beds, and entire environments. The fair struck a balance between art and design, offering experimental and curated presentations that attracted a wide range of attendees.

Notable participants included Casa Ankan from Miami, presenting a mix of art and design pieces. Colaab from Paris exhibited functional objects developed in collaboration with artists, artisans, and fabricators. The fair also featured works by artists such as Nicholas Devlin, whose sculptural installation was inspired by Hieronymus Bosch and Remedios Varo.

Glass artists had a strong presence at the fair, with Fusion F showcasing vessels in organic shapes, and other artists presenting colorful and intricate glass works. The event also highlighted sculptural seating, inventive lighting, and a vibrant display of art and design objects.

Collectible New York provided a platform for artists and designers to bring fantastical and unexpected pieces into everyday spaces. The fair, held at Water Street Projects in Manhattan, offered visitors a unique experience to explore and interact with cutting-edge art and design creations.
