Tefaf Announces Fifth Managing Director in Four Years After Controversy

The European Fine Art Foundation (Tefaf) has appointed Dominique Savelkoul as its new managing director. Savelkoul, who brings extensive experience in the cultural sector, previously served as head of Mu.Zee in Belgium and held management positions at various cultural institutions. She is the fifth director of Tefaf in four years and aims to strengthen the foundation’s institutional presence. In addition to Savelkoul’s appointment, Tefaf has added two London-based dealers to its board of trustees: Adrian Sassoon and Valentina Vico. Sassoon specializes in contemporary art and 18th-century French porcelain, while Vico focuses on Italian and European Old Master painting and sculpture.
