AEA’s annual report tracks cultural infrastructure projects, showing a 4% increase in completed projects from the previous year. Construction costs have risen, leading organizations to consider cost-effective renovations over new constructions. Despite this trend, some large-scale projects are still in the works, especially in the Middle East. This shift in focus towards more responsive and community-oriented spaces reflects a broader trend in cultural infrastructure development.
