New York Expansion: Collectible Fair Founders Bet on Art and Design Confluence

The Water Street Associates (WSA) building in New York’s Financial District has become a hotspot for new creative ventures, attracting the Belgian contemporary design fair Collectible for its New York debut on 5 September. The fair’s co-founders, Clélie Debehault and Liv Vaisberg, saw an opportunity in launching the New York edition during Armory Week, tapping into the city’s vibrant design energy.

Collectible, known for bringing functional art to fine art collectors, features over 100 participants from New York and the US, showcasing a diverse range of works. The fair is split into eight sections, highlighting emerging studios, outdoor sculptures, bespoke designs, and more. With sections like Curated and Distinct, Collectible offers a unique platform for artists and designers to showcase their work.

As part of its expansion to New York, Collectible has appointed Emily Marant as the director for its new YS fair, signaling a new chapter for the city’s design scene. The founders are committed to making the New York fair an annual event and are eyeing potential expansion to Seoul in the future. Don’t miss the Collectible New York fair from 5-8 September at Water Street Projects in Manhattan.
