Top Four Exhibitions to Visit at Art Basel
The summer show at Fondation Beyeler in Riehen is a unique exhibition featuring contemporary artists working to create a living organism that changes and transforms. The exhibition traces the evolution of design through various genres and styles inspired by visions of the future. With a collection of over 100 objects, the exhibition showcases how designers and artists have imagined and created furniture pieces that reflect futuristic themes and concepts.
Lastly, at Kunstmuseum Basel, the exhibition “Dan Flavin: Dedications in Lights” delves into the work of artist Dan Flavin, known for his fluorescent-light sculptures. The exhibition highlights Flavin’s dedications and explores his interest in drawing and works on paper. Through nearly 60 works, including light installations and sketches, the exhibition offers a deeper understanding of Flavin’s artistic practice and influences.
