Anselm Kiefer and Vincent van Gogh Unite in Royal Academy Exhibition

The Royal Academy of Arts in London will host a groundbreaking exhibition next summer featuring a unique pairing of Vincent van Gogh and Anselm Kiefer. Titled “Kiefer/Van Gogh,” this exhibition marks the first time the works of both artists will be displayed together. Developed in collaboration with Kiefer’s studio and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the exhibition will showcase a selection of works that draw on history, mythology, literature, philosophy, and science, highlighting the influence of Van Gogh on Kiefer’s monumental paintings and sculptures. The exhibition is set to open at the Van Gogh Museum before moving to the Royal Academy’s Gabrielle Jungels-Winkler Galleries on 28 June 2025. The exact list of works is yet to be announced, but this will be a unique opportunity to experience the artistic dialogue between these two iconic artists. Don’t miss this historic exhibition, “Kiefer/Van Gogh,” at the Royal Academy of Arts from 28 June to 26 October 2025.
