  1. I love Chappell and she is so beyond within her right to set boundaries. Just because you became famous doesn't mean it should be normalised for you to be stalked and harrassmed. Someone had to say it and she did

  2. this whole chappel situation absolutely REEKS of misogyny. nobody gets upset when male celebrities assert their boundaries. but because our society treats women as public commodities we cant wrap our heads around a woman deserving respect. chappel doesn’t owe yall shit. if she wants to take a picture with you, thats super cool- if she doesn’t, move on with your day. i don’t care if maybe she could’ve said things nicer, women don’t owe you politeness, especially not women who are trying to express that they feel unsafe.

  3. I literally could not give less of a fuck if a celebrity feels weird about fan interactions. They are ultra rich and benefit from people in classes lower than them buying their shit, they should quite literally spend every minute of their time in service of the people who allow them to live their privilaged lives

  4. To people without boundaries, having and upholding boundaries feels like aggression. To people with boundaries, people without boundaries feel unsafe. With healthy people who end up in the public eye, those issues get multiplied like crazy.

  5. All she asked for was for people to treat her like a human being and somehow that spawned a whole discourse over whether celebrities are allowed to set boundaries. Like what??

  6. Why must every queer artist do the ugly drag queen makeup it so mean why can’t they just leave her as she was?! There’s many types of queer and women aren’t drag queens and everyone who felt seen now feels betrayed! Think more siouxsie and the banshees androgynous instead of guy in girl makeup look more she’s supposed to be a femininominon

  7. I really love how you painted chapel and also yeah that is really cool the chapel took a photo of herself where she's eating what I think is a cake that looks like lipstick but isn't lipstick but she put something on her face to make it look like she did eat lipstick or I could be wrong

  8. It wasn't her normal fans that she was serving she was speaking to the creepy people who don't respect boundaries. She should have been praised for a celeb to finally truly call out the creepy fans. It was so valid she should have been 100% supported.

  9. it pisses me off unimaginably when people talk about Chappell roan as if she was out of touch for asking to be treated like a normal human being. a lot of people forget that being a musician isn't just some silly little hobby, it's a full time job. a literal career. doing this shit with musicians is like a 40 year old woman heckling the 16 year old at the Chipotle counter. how come it's normalized when it comes to artists??
