this whole chappel situation absolutely REEKS of misogyny. nobody gets upset when male celebrities assert their boundaries. but because our society treats women as public commodities we cant wrap our heads around a woman deserving respect. chappel doesn’t owe yall shit. if she wants to take a picture with you, thats super cool- if she doesn’t, move on with your day. i don’t care if maybe she could’ve said things nicer, women don’t owe you politeness, especially not women who are trying to express that they feel unsafe.
