Exploring Truth and Post-Truth in American Art: New Exhibition in Rome



The current exhibition held at a Baroque palace in Rome delves into the theme of Realism and figuration in contemporary American art. Titled “Day for Night: New American Realism,” the show features works from the private collection of Tony and Elham Salamé, showcasing over 150 pieces by artists like Cecily Brown and Sanya Kantarovsky. Curated by Massimiliano Gioni and Flaminia Gennari Santori, the exhibition explores the complexities of truth and representation in American culture. The exhibit, running until July 14, 2024, offers a thought-provoking look at the intersection of art, politics, and society.
