The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida has received a significant donation from developer Jonathan “Jack” Frost. The donation consists of nearly 700 prints, contributing to the museum’s European art collection by almost 40%. Spanning over 500 years, the collection includes works by renowned artists such as Henry Moore, Albrecht Dürer, Anthony van Dyck, Rembrandt van Rijn, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Édouard Manet, Paul Gauguin, and Hannah Höch. A selection of 75 prints will be on display in an upcoming exhibition titled “The Paper Trail: 500 Years of Prints from the Jonathan “Jack” Frost Collection”. Frost, who has been involved with the Norton for more than 30 years, expressed his satisfaction with the museum being the ideal home for his collection. Museum director Ghislain d’Humières praised Frost for his carefully curated collection highlighting the history of printmaking in Europe and America.
