Former Luxury Goods Head Appointed as Global Chief Executive at Bonhams

Chabi Nouri, a Swiss luxury goods and private equity expert, has been appointed as the new global CEO of Bonhams auction house. With a background in luxury goods and retail, Nouri brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She will be responsible for overseeing all regions and aspects of Bonhams business, as the auction house looks to expand into new categories like collectible luxury goods. Bonhams is owned by private equity firm Epiris, which acquired the auction house in 2018. Reports of a potential $1bn sale of Bonhams surfaced last year, but no further details have emerged.
