Frieze to Sponsor British Pavilion at 60th Venice Biennale in 2024
Frieze, a global art fair and magazine brand, has announced their sponsorship of the British pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale, taking place from April 20 to November 24, 2024. This marks the first time an art fair has provided financial support for a national pavilion at the Biennale. John Akomfrah’s British Council Commission will be supported by this five-figure partnership, in addition to public funds and private sponsors. The partnership is crucial to realizing Akomfrah’s ambitious vision for the pavilion. The British Council confirms that Frieze’s sponsorship will be credited within the pavilion and in marketing and public program activities.
