Photofairs to Debut Hong Kong Edition in 2025: What to Expect

Photofairs Hong Kong will debut next March alongside Art Basel in Hong Kong and other cultural events during “Art March.” The fair will be held in Central and is expected to feature 50 to 75 exhibitors. Photofairs Shanghai will move to May next year, with changes in date due to previous lockdowns. The fair’s director, Fan Ni, brings experience from the mainland art world to lead the Hong Kong project. The fair organizers emphasize the importance of adapting programming to the specific location where the fair is held. The new fair in Hong Kong will cater to the city’s thriving art market, especially in photography. Creo Arts, the London-based company behind the fair, partners with various organizations to bring the event to life. Ownership details of the fair are not publicly disclosed.
