Flora Yukhnovich, the British artist who reimagines 18th-century Rococo art for modern audiences, will showcase two new works at the Wallace Collection in London this summer. Inspired by French artist François Boucher and other Rococo masters, Yukhnovich’s paintings will temporarily replace Boucher’s works at the top of the grand staircase in Hertford House. Known for her fluid canvases that blend abstraction and figuration, Yukhnovich’s art has garnered commercial success, with her paintings fetching seven-figure sums on the secondary market. The Norwich-born painter studied at the Heatherley School of Fine Art and the City & Guilds of London Art School before holding solo exhibitions in London. Currently, an exhibition of her works at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford showcases her inspiration from Dutch Golden Age still-life paintings.
