  1. We’re all for artists getting paid for their art, but also, don’t be a fucking dick about it. This dude got your permission, and still managed to make the duck even with your unhelpful “guidance”. Where do you find the balls to then go and sue the person for doing the thing that they got your permission and paid you to do???
    Make that make sense 🤦🏽‍♀️

  2. And here in Brazil at the same time, the big rubber duck became a symbol against the rise of the conservative party that were, amongs other things, glorifying right wing dictatorial regimes.
But I didn't know about these two artists tho.

  3. I knew you’re voting habits wouldn’t allow you to report on the fact that Justin Trudeau scammed all of Canada claiming that he got one of these ducks to exhibit in Canada for Canada Day, and it ended up being a fake that he overpaid for using taxpayer money while he paid off his family and other people that he owed money to charging Canadians $40 million extra in taxes that year. And by $40 million extra in taxes I mean per hundred thousand people. you can do the math you have a calculator app on your phone.

  4. The main thing I don’t like is that the person just copied exactly what he did instead of using it in his own way, instead making it bigger as an I’m better than you way and basically taking ownership of the same idea, rubs me wrong tbh.

  5. This is so wierd. I like this through. The ducks are so cute. The lawsuit is wierd. I totally get why Nintendo is suing PalWorld. PalWorld had it coming. However the lawsuit is pretty dubious here. The ducks look so generic. It hardly qualifies as origional art. The only thing unusual is the size. Even if this was origional one should not sue someone for something that both parties agreed to. That is scummy.
