Top Highlights from The Armory Show’s 30th-Anniversary Edition in Galleries



The 30th anniversary of New York’s largest commercial art fair, The Armory Show, is approaching, signaling a new chapter under the direction of Frieze. This year’s edition will feature over 235 galleries from 35 countries, a revamped floor plan, and an array of talent. Highlights include works by artists such as Isaac Julien, Tschabalala Self, Suzanne Song, and Chryssa Vardea, among others. Standouts in the fair’s core section include pieces from Almine Rech, Sean Kelly, Kasmin, and Broadway galleries.

The Presents section will showcase emerging galleries and artists, while the Solo section will feature intimate artist presentations. The Focus section will delve into experimental works curated by Robyn Farrell, with standout presentations from Corbett vs. Dempsey and Fierman galleries. Additionally, the Platform section will feature large-scale installations curated by Eugenie Tsai, including works by Sanford Biggers, Nari Ward, and Dominique Fung.
