Gallery Weekend Berlin’s 20th Edition Showcases New Faces and Spaces
Gallery Weekend Berlin (GWB) is celebrating its 20th edition with 55 participants, including new spaces and faces. The event, led by director Antonia Ruder, is a key market moment drawing international collectors to the city. Mega gallery Pace is also making a mark with a Berlin pop-up showcasing the first European show of Maysha Mohamedi. Pace’s potential permanent presence in Berlin reflects the city’s evolving cultural landscape amidst rising rents and shifting gallery locations. The event features new spaces like Klemm’s and Soy Capitán, as well as established galleries such as Sprüth Magers and Esther Schipper showcasing a diverse range of artists and exhibitions. Berlin’s art scene continues to adapt and thrive, proving the city’s importance in the global art market.
