Had they reframed the exhibition as 'artist Lynda Gammon documents her (re)discovery of hidden and forgotten female artist and her interaction with their works, while not showing us any of them ( -so to make a statement about how frustrating this kind of invisibility is)' – the reception could have been so much better.
