Paris Exhibition Showcases Young Artists’ Olympic-Inspired Games
This summer in Paris, one of the standout Olympics-themed exhibitions is “Gold Rush” at Lafayette Anticipations and the Ateliers Médicis. Coordinated by ebb.global, the exhibition features an alternative Olympic park designed by 60 students from the Alfred Nobel secondary school in Clichy-sous-Bois. Visitors can embark on a whimsical quest to retrieve the stolen Olympic flame, experiencing rides like an urban rodeo on a motorcycle, a post-apocalyptic forest labyrinth, and Golf-foot, a unique blend of golf and football. Artist Neil Beloufa guided the students over a year, helping them create an interactive and connected project. The exhibition showcases the students’ imaginaries, mythologies, and outlooks on the world, all with a touch of humor. The project aims to empower the students by offering them new skills and experiences, potentially opening up opportunities for their future careers. Don’t miss this playful and inventive exhibition in Paris until September 1st.
