Platform 101, an independent, non-profit institution in Iran, recently hosted a groundbreaking digital art exhibition titled Vol. 04: “Geometry of Creation: Analysis of Anti-Rhythmic Structures.” This exhibition became the largest video art exhibition in the country’s history, featuring works from 44 artists representing 12 countries. Curated by Mohammad Ali Famori and Ramin Saeidian, the exhibition focused on underrepresented genres like glitch and fractal art, exploring imperfection and complexity in artistic structures. The exhibition showcased fractal patterns in both generative coding art and videography, highlighting the balance between order and chaos inherent in these designs. Platform 101’s dedication to pushing artistic boundaries and educating through digital art was evident in this successful exhibition, which ran until October 11, 2024.
