The Abbazia di San Giorgio Maggiore, located in San Giorgio, is a stunning 16th-century Benedictine church designed by the renowned architect Andrea Palladio. It features a white marble façade and houses works by artists such as Claude Monet, Tintoretto, and Jacopo Bassano. Currently, Belgian artist Berlinde De Bruyckere’s sculptures are on display in the church.
