Ancient artifacts from Crimea, known as Scythian gold, have been returned to Ukraine after a long legal battle following Russia’s annexation of the peninsula. The items were exhibited in the Netherlands before being returned to their rightful owner in Kyiv. The National History Museum of Ukraine now houses the 565 pieces, including antique sculptures and jewelry, until Crimea is deoccupied. The Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam played a key role in facilitating the return of the artifacts.
