South Florida Luxury Lifestyle Portfolio Acquires Untitled Art Fair

Untitled Art, the independent art fair held in Miami Beach alongside Art Basel each December, has been acquired by South Florida Ventures, a company that focuses on luxury lifestyle brands in Florida. The founder of Untitled Art, Jeffrey Lawson, and his team will continue to lead the fair under this new ownership. The acquisition will provide Untitled Art with more resources to scale the fair platform, expand its curatorial team, and enhance programming and year-round events. While there are no immediate plans to expand to other cities, the partnership with South Florida Ventures aims to grow the fair’s presence in Florida and beyond. The next edition of Untitled Art is scheduled for December 4-8, 2024, with a VIP preview on December 3. Guest curators will assist exhibitors in their presentations, and the fair will expand its Nest section dedicated to emerging and non-profit art spaces. This acquisition of Untitled Art is part of a trend of independent art fairs being acquired by larger corporations, such as the recent acquisitions of The Armory Show in New York and Expo Chicago by Frieze.
